Brent Walker has joined Markham, Ontario-based implementer, EDI Enterprise Performance Group as a performance architect.
Flow-Rite Controls has hired Sara McMurray as central regional manager. She will work with new and existing distributors to develop and grow national accounts for the Byron Center, Michigan-based battery watering technology company. Tanya Jones has also joined Flow-Rite as quality manager.
Bob Newcom is the new director of professional services for Data2Logistics, a Fort Myers, Florida-based company that provides freight bill information and services.
Battery Watering Technologies of Clemmons, North Carolina has added Mike Rohroff to its sales team. Rohroff is based in Michigan and will be responsible for the company’s northeast territory, including Canada.
Franklin, Wisconsin-based mezzanine manufacturer Steele Solutions Inc has hired Dan Peterson as its director of technical services. He will lead the engineering and design team and will manage the design process from pre-sales to purchasing to final engineering approvals.
The Robotics Institute of America (RIA) has added three members to its board of directors: Henrik Christensen, director of Robotics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Chuck Keibler, vice-president of Genesis Systems Group LLC, and Pete Squires, vice-president of Schneider Packaging Equipment. It is the first term for the three appointees. They will all serve for two years. Tim DeRosett of Motoman Robotics, Joe Gemma of Staubli Robotics, Joyce Guthrie of USPS, Dana Komin of General Motors, Mark Lewandowski of Procter & Gamble and Steve Rock from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute were all re-elected to the board and will serve for an additional two years. Kirk Goins of Comau Robotics, was appointed by the board to the remaining one year left of an open term. Scot Lindemann from JR Automation, was re-appointed to the position of director-at-large. He will serve for two years.
Savi Technology has made a number of executive appointments. Jay Birch has moved from the role of director of software engineering and services and into the position of vice-president of software engineering. He will continue to lead the company’s technical design team as it develops, tests and produces wireless products and asset tracking solutions. Rosemary Johnston has been promoted to the position of vice-president of business operations. She was previously senior director of business operations, systems and governance. Johnston will oversee operations, sales, system support and governance for the Alexandria, Virginia-based company. Mitch Miller is the new vice-president of professional services. Until the promotion, he was director of the Americas programs. Miller will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to the sales team. James Costello now holds the title of vice-president and general counsel, after serving as senior counsel for the asset tracking product manufacturer.
